Fire door replacement
Fire door replacement for flat entrance and communal doors, installed as complete certificated doorsets with the evidence recorded door by door.
What we do
When a fire door is beyond adjustment, patching it is false economy. A replacement doorset arrives as a tested assembly, leaf, frame, seals and ironmongery together, so the installed door performs the way the certificate says it should.
We survey and measure each opening, agree the specification and finish with you, and install with minimal disruption to residents. Every door is recorded by a fixed reference with photographs of the completed installation, gap checks and certification, giving you an entry in the building file that stands up to audit.
Replacement programmes are commonly instructed off the back of our fire door inspections, where a proportion of doors fail beyond economical repair, and can be batched by stair core to keep access simple.

How a fire door replacement runs
- 1
Survey and measure: each opening is measured and the required rating, finish and ironmongery confirmed.
- 2
Specification and approval: the doorset specification and cost are agreed before anything is ordered.
- 3
Manufacture: doorsets are made to measure as tested assemblies.
- 4
Installation: old door removed, new doorset fitted, seals, closer and signage completed.
- 5
Checks: gaps, closing action and latch are tested from every angle.
- 6
Certification: the door's certificate, photographs and check record are issued for the building file.
